| This is an opportunity to either create a new Israeli consensus or to clearly define the differences between the Likud and Kadima. Netanyahu needs to offer Livni the principle of "two states for two peoples subject to the requirement of clearly defendable borders for Israel". Its time to clearly establish the extent of territorial compromise that each party is willing to consider. At the very least this will allow voters in the next election to make an informed and intelligent choice on the most critical issue facing the country. |
