| I applaud President Peres for keeping Israel focused on the goal of peace. But they can only do so much as long as Hamas is in power in Gaza. Or until Hamas is subsumed politically and militarily. Palestine needs its own Altalena (where the radical leaders go down with the ship, if you will). And only the PA can do that. And they`re not even close to being ready for statehood in the event. jmho. p. |
