| With Iran weakened and regime change Syria will find the choice easier to move away from state sponsored terrorism and Iranian influence and hold hands with the west. Hamas will no longer have the backing required so they will be more likely to split factional and a group that can be worked with will emerge. After a factional war in Lebanon without Syrian or Iranian backing, Hizbullah and Syrian proxies will be weakened and thus a workable political situation should emerge in Lebanon. What are required is introspective nations looking inwards at their own problems and issues and not expansionist ideologies. It will be a difficult birth but it has started in Iraq, and Iraq free from Iranian influence and a Iran free from Iranian influence. |
