| The average American, Jew or gentile, has no idea about any Israeli history. Anything Jewish history before New York in 1900 or outside the USA since then is ignored (except the Holocaust). There is no reason why big events like the ingathering of olim, the Six Day War, the Yom Kippur war, even the Oslo experiment can`t be portrayed in English language films. Hollywood will not do it. Israelis can. |
