I too am disappointed that Waltz lost - because its a great film and an important one. But lets not be bad losers - perhaps the Japanese film was indeed that much better and this is not all some weird inability to see Jews out of the Holocaust context. Lets all grow up and stop thinking everyone wants us to be or act the victim.
