Everybody.... Muslim or otherwise should look up Sharif and find out about him, an his most recent book in Wikipedia.
He is the one who set in motion the Jihad, with his earlier books....but this Jihad was aimed at secular arab states, Not foreign countries where Islam is not the religion.
He criticizes Bin Laden`s attack in New York as Treachery and as such against Sharia Law. He also slates 9/11 and the Marid and London bombings as they were indiscriminate attacks on foreign nationals,,,,,,something specificly forbidden in the rules for jihad as laid out in the Coran.
As Dr Sharif is regarded as the Jihad`s foremost expert on the interpretation of the Coran, all this matters to the other radical Jihadists who now run AL Quaeda like Zawahiri.
Zawahiri never normally responds to adverse comment. His reply to Sharif`s new book runs to 200 pages on the net! |
