Various of my Jewish friends, employees and my business partner who have travelled or studied in Israel have, with embarrasment, commented that there is considerable racism in Israel in general and that in some right-wing groups there is extreme discrimination not only against Muslims Arabs but against Christians as well. My Jewish partner is so ashamed that he has refused to translate some of the names Jews call Christians.
Psychologists can explain that discrimination is a deffensive mechanism. That we have to understand. But the viciousness of the racism against the Paletinians is unacceptable.
I`m afraid that for various cultural and religious reasons, apart from political ones, the Jews are extremely discriminatory and it will cost them dearly. |
