I`m not sure what your point is, but almost every president we have had in the US has been a mediocrity or less. Somehow, with the common touch and the help of the Lord, we manage to bungle through however badly. We tend to overate people llike FDR and Reagan, but in time we gain a better perspective, e.g. Truman and Adams.
