The timing is not good to become Israels PM, especially one thatrejects acting in good faith. Job one for any Israeli PM is to avoid peace while expanding the west bank settlements. That has been easy so far, but not there are more and more disapproving stares from nations that used to clear their throat and turn away. The Shalit issue is a tar baby that will likely be arounf a while longer. Anticipated pressure from Obama towards peace must be resisted. In other words, it`s the same old stuff as always but at a higher level. A person of good faith would take each problem on, doing his best, and let the chips fall as they will. Those with a private agenda must balance their words, their acts, and appearances and keep them all consistent, lest the jig be up.
