If Labor is serious about being an opposition, then they need to oppose, and not absent themselves from the political debate. Lieberman recommends a PM and Labor sulks. Not a good start. Will they also walk out of Knesset meetings? Their job is to become an effective alternative voice and opposition. Their lack of a recommendation to President Peres is not an encouraging first step.
