| This clip has been used for parody before. The Onion used it after a particularly bad showing of an NFL team, I recall. So why the fuss when it`s in an Israeli context? Holocaust survivors tell tons of Hitler jokes--they created the genre as a survival tactic. I find it hard to believe that they`d get mad at the grandchildren who`ve carried on their shtick into the next generations. If you want to get infuriated on behalf of Holocaust survivors, do so on behalf of the 70,000 of them who struggle to survive below the povwerty line in Israel today. While millions of shekels & dollars are spent on shlepping teens to view crematoria, those who survived struggle to feed themselves. Now THAT`s infuriating. Take up THAT cause instead of this silliness. |
