if such jokes were put on SNL or other comedy programs anywhere abroad. Some Jews would even go to the extent of calling it anti-semitic and even saying that an apology on air is not enough.
I am embarrassed that some Jews feel the liberty of offending, bashing and cracking jokes on figures of faith.
I can understand the humilliation and even frustration of Christians in the country. I do not believe that the action of one should thwart the Popes visit though. The lawmakers are attempting to make this a political issues greater then what it is. |
