The Occupying Power takes them into custody. It makes no real difference *how* they were taken into custody, or even *where* they were when they were taken into custody. What matters is what an occupying power can do to the occupied people who are under its authority. Can it imprison them? Yes. Can it exile them? No. SA: "IDF officers have killed far more civillians than any of these militants" Straw man. The issue is the rights and responsibility of an OCCUPYING POWER towards the PEOPLE UNDER OCCUPATION. And I`ll repeat... Can it imprison them? Yes. Can it exile them? No. |
