The UNO Partition plan of Palestine in 1947 was not perfect. It left Arab minority in Jewish state and Jewish minority in Arab state. However, Israel accepted it. Arabs did not, and several Arab countries waged wars on Israel, like in 1948 and 1973, trying to annihilate it. Nowadays, Israel is being pushed to withdraw to 1967 borders, evacuating all of the Jewish settlements. Actually, it means one and a half state for Arabs and half a state for Jews. That is unacceptable. Either all the Arabs will be transferred to Palestine Authority, so that 2 states will be homogenous, or Jewish settlements will live under PA jurisdiction, so that each minority would constitute about 20 percent. This of course provided that Jews under PA would be given the same rights and securities that Arabs possess in Israel.
