| This "scared Arab" is as loyal to his wife and children as he is to his country. Why does he not drink and dance with his own wife instead of chasing after others? Is being a "scared Arab" an excuse to neglect your children? He mentions the Arab rioters who were shot dead during the so-called "intifada" but not the Jews they had murdered! If he was loyal to his family and country he would not feel threatened by such slogans as "no citizenship without loyalty". The Iranian mullahs are threatening to wipe out Israel and are hoping to use the Arab-Israeli community as a Trojan Horse or Fifth Column, like the Nazis used the "Sudeten Germans" in Czechoslovakia. This situation, which is not of Israel`s making, is what is presenting such "scared Arabs" as Sayed Kashua with a clear choice: show solidarity with Israel or leave. For the sake of his wife and children I hope he makes the first choice. |
