For imagine the following scenario: Syrian, Hamas and Hizbollah forces are able to defeat the Israeli Army and march through the streets of Tel-Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem. Jewish citizens run for their life while massacre of Jews is talking place all over the country. What would you think will be the role of the Arab population in Israel at this time? Let me give you a hint: not much different than that of the polish population under Nazi occupation. In other words, they will join in the fray. This is why, I believe, that Liberman`s loyalty request is futile: we already know where their loyalty lies. It is just a question of when they will show it. |
