| Actually, a loyalty oath UNITES Jewish and Muslim Israelis. Exactly like in the US. The oath of allegiance for immigrants, and the pledge of allegiance for citizens, is what allows all Americans - regardless of ethnicity - to become a `melting pot`. The plan is to make ALL Israeli citizens give a loyalty oath, Jews as well as Muslims. Muslims who give this oath indicate they are part of Israeli society. Ethnicity is irrelevant. The loyalty oath is the opposite of racism. |
