| The problem with Lieberman is that his "nationalism" is totally secular and far away from authentic Jewish values. While on the one hand I welcome his focus on the question of Arab loyalty, I`m not sure I would want to swear loyalty myself to a kind of secular nationalistic Liebermanland with civil mixed marriages, pork for all and land swaps for convenience. If there is no connection to anything Jewish, then there is no difference between Lieberman`s nationalism and Japanese or Swedish nationalism and it is just as empty and worthless. Where did that guy get his values from? |
