| Mathematics becomes a difficult science, when adding up "2 + 2" doesn`t yield the result which fits your needs. What do you do then? Redefine things. A youngster throwing a stone: a terrorist. A police apprentice: a terrorist. And suddenly the percentage of killed terrorists goes up. The only problem which remains: neither kids, nor police (yes, all police!) are considered by the Geneva Conventions to be civilians. And whereas occupation is not accepted by International Law, fighting an occupation by arms is recognized by International Law. |
