| `Israel: Two-thirds of Palestinians killed in Gaza fighting were terrorists ` At the time, the IDF figured it had killed about 500 `militants` -- leaving 800 civilian dead. Moreover -- even accepting the IDF claim at face value -- that 500 included policemen, mailmen, civilian officials, and anyone else who served in the civil government of Gaza. Hamas claimed only 64 of its fighters were killed. There`s no need to accept that figure -- I would guess 200 or 300 were. However, we all know what that operation was about, and of course the majority of the victims were noncombatants. That was the intent. Please stop lying. It`s annoying. |
