If you genuinely care about the Palestinian people you would likely be furious at Hamas for putting their rocket launchers, bases, and booby traps in and near people`s homes. Or for that matter, firing those 9,000 milssiles in the first place, and endangering their own people. The local Hamas leadership in Gaza is pretty furious at the Damascus leadership about that, so is Fatah, Egypt, Saudia Arabia, the EU...
No military action in history has ever been perfect -- but under 250 casualties out of a dense population of 1.6 Million shows tremendous care on the part of Israel. By any analysis they tried very hard to avoid every possible casualty, while working to protect their own citizens.
The Palestinian people deserve better than Hamas, we all do. |
