Hence the ridiculous espionage charge, timed to coincide with a giant step to the right by the State of Israel. Iran`s current ploy of fomenting anger amongst its citizens -- at the Bahai faith; at Israel; at the clear blue sky, it doesn`t matter -- is a desperate attempt to deflect the Iranian people`s attention away from the Iranian economy, which is near collapse.
Of course, the Islamic Republic of Iran doesn`t need much of an excuse for a big, public hanging -- it is what they do.
