| It seems as if the grip on reality regarding democracy and the workings of Israeli election policies is almost nonexistent regarding most of the previous responders. Marzel did not request to be sent to Um El Fahm to work in the polling station. He was assigned there by lottery. If he would violate any laws regarding the voting, he should have been removed. Instead he was banned from entering the place where he was assigned to go. The Israeli Police were quick to deny him his rights and perhaps contribute to voter fraud taking place within the station. MK Eldad who volunteered to take Marzel`s place was also forced to leave the polling station and attempts were made to assault him as the police escorted him out. The leaders of the townm should have been requested to control their people or the polls would have to be closed for public safety. It was not Marzel who caused the problem but the Arabs by their actions and the police due to their inaction. |
