Gideon Levy is an Israeli voice I admire. His thinking is similar to the thinking of American anti-racist, anti-segregation fighters in the 1950s & 60s, similar to the thinking of the few French opponents to the war in Algeria (54-62). These fighters for freedom & dignity won the day & are heroes today. Lieberman would not only destroy the Middle East if his policies were implemented he would also destroy Israel.
Gideon Levy is the voice of sanity. He`s reviled today in the same way Martin Luther King was but his decency will, I hope, prevail in the coming decades. |
