| Politicians and Demagogues say this stuff because it works. It even gets people to listen to them even if they don`t agree with them. I`d say at the very least, because I don`t really know what he`s saying, that if people that really know, think that Lieberman`s yack is going to lead to a clash with the United States, that the Supreme Justices of Israel may need to step forward and put a halt to this. One may be a hawk but certain types of speech by elected leaders can compromise the security of an entire nation. Look at Iran for example. In Germany, I believe there is some kind of agreement with the Russians that prevents the Russians from attacking Germany as long as no Nazis take over on account of the war and the Shoah. Mubarak hates him. That`s enough for the Justices to step in, don`t you think??? |
