| Simple question to those who criticize Israel, no matter what. For them as an example, targeted assassionations are a WAR CRIME! Than, should we also prosecute the RAF for the targeted attacks on Ba`ath leaders during the Iraq war, or the Russians for the targeted assassination of a former Chechen President, General Dudayev, a Soviet war Hero, killed by a Russian missile alowith dozens others?? What about the Canadian, Belgian, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or US pilots who bombed Yugoslavia and Kosovo for weeks, mainly targeting factories, bridges, even the Presidential palace in Belgrad?? What about the politicians in these countries and the generals who ordered the air raids?? Should they be prosecuted as well??? Should the Sri Lankan Air Force be taken to court for bombing civilan and military targets? As it appears, targeting Israel for something everyone else does, or did,is a cheap cover for anti-Semitic feelings. Nothing new under the Sun, n`est pas? |
