One may agree or disagree with reporter Hass on her politics. However Haaretz editors passed for publication some very shoddy journalism. Reports of burn victims getting worse---how many victims? Which doctors are reporting? Hass also states that tests need to be determined to tell if a burn is phosphorus---what tests? It is clear she did not check with reputable physicians. I personally am a physician and as a youth suffered an accidental phosphorus burn. So I have some experience. I suggest Haaretz editors should require a higher level of fact checking before printing a story like this one. |
