| Jewish brothers. As a Catholic that endourses religious eccumenism, I ask you to forgive the past actions, and some present mistakes of my church, that have dammaged the good relations among us, believers in One God, sons of Abraham.Jesus and Mary were Jews. The Old Testament is the same for the both faiths. The Pope, as a human being, may err, but I am sure he recognized it.
