| Positive bridge building out of this Papal controversy It looks that Pope Benedict XVI wanted to achieve return to the fold of the church, the Pius Brothers Association headed by 4 Bishops including its disreputable Bishop Williamson by any price to achieve unison. - Apparently as the worldwide critics show he created the opposite, inside the church as well, as shown by worldwide with its protests from inside the Vatican / Church and organizations, government who question the sensibility at the present time and its unconditional, controversy action and form. As Father Tom Reese senior fellow of Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University declared.- ??he does not consult experts who might challenge his views and inclinations ?? As Father Eberhard von Gemmingen of Vatican Radio, German service head, declared.- ??There are obviously shortcomings in the Vatican`s organization and communications ... Such a misunderstanding and debacle must never happen again?? As Cardinal Walter Kasper declared in an interview.- ??There wasn`t enough talking with each other in the Vatican and there are no longer checks to see where problems could arise?? The German Bishops? Conference also denounced Williamson. Bishop Williamson?s s e m i d e n o u n c e m e n t b y u s i n g ?? i m p r u d e n c y?? made from his present basis in La Reja Argentina, with it sizeable German ex-Nazi and families made it more and more imperative for Pope Benedict XVI to come out with a well formulated written with unmistakeable declaration of the Second Vatican Council validity 1962 to 65 including its Nostra Aetate undisturbed / indisputable inclusion of complete rejection of all Bishop Williamson Holocaust / anti Semitic declarations. - This could lead to Williamson?s possible extradition, to be judged by a German Court for his ??Regensburg Swedish TV interview?? without any Vatican interference This seems the only way open n o w to return, atleast to the status of before this untimely, unexplainable of excommunication cancellation causing worldwide problems in Vatican / Roman Catholic Church relations to Holocaust, its history, anti Semitism and relationship to its religious forefathers, the Jews as well as on the ??Vatican?s diplomatic relations?? |
