Want to get beyond the "cycle of violence"? Want to understand the root of conflict? Want to actually know *why* it is sad that peace is still remote?
It doesn`t take a chi-chi excursion into realms of moral equivalence. How many times will Leftist artists fall back on "the system is corrupt but individual examples of humanity on both sides shine through". That is just soooo easy.
Try reading the "Hamas Covenant 1988". There you will actually, abrasively, *encounter* evil. There you will find the outright covenantal commitment to the destruction of world Jewry. It is such *evil* that drives the conflict. It is the *source* of conflict.
Without understanding *that* you will not be able to move in any direction whatsoever. You will be frozen, paralyzed -- you will be forced to surrender to despair because relativism and the dislocating assignment of evil to "the system" is an anti-realist error.
