| The previous rocket launched since the latest "truce" is said to have come from Fatah. The only reasons one can imagine Fatah firing rockets into Israel are to either prove to the local Palestinian electorate that they are still a "resistance" party, or to destabilise Hamas by making sure that they are not able to prevent other groups from launching attacks, thereby reducing Hamas`s international credibility; something that Israel itself would also seem to have a PR interest in. Given the events of 4 November 2008 I`m afraid that one must be very sceptical about the real source of any such activity. |
