Jews in America (and in most other Western countries) have more freedom than Jews in Israel. American Jews don`t live in fear, don`t have the Holocaust shoved down their throats and the constant propaganda Israel uses to try to keep its people together because of foreign threats of total destruction.
Not living in fear, Jews in America and elsewhere in the West feel that maintaining traditional Jewish values is more important than helping a country that commits atrocities like Gaza and starves a population living in the world`s largest prison camp.
Israel may be able to manipulate western governments and use influence in the news media to fool Christian Zionists and others who are ignorant, but Jews who make a point of investigating the situation in Israel know what`s going on, and increasingly they don`t like it. |
