The people of the world understood that a blind supporter of Israel like George W bush would accept the Israeli security nonsense, but we thought that intelligent men like Obama and Mitchell might be more realistic and would give a sign of renewed respect for justice to the Israeli occupiers.
Sadly, the above report about the US governments position on the occupation and its solution sound very bad: the reendorsement of the utter irrational Roadmap, the support for the 2004 letter of GWB, accepting the daylight robbery of Palestinian landtheft by Israel (what legal nonsense "accepting facts on the ground"!). Not ONE word about the state organised, illegal Israeli settlement enterprise that continues until today, NOTHING!
Again we hear the same old mantras of "being very serious about the Palestinian issue" and "wanting to accelerate the process as much as possible".
We heard the emtpy rethorics before and in the end the US did NOTHING! I have a very, very bad feeling about this... |
