| The Israeli Military inhumanly controls the West Bank - have you ever had a look round??? I have – there’s Israeli soldiers everywhere. Take a LOOK. If Palestinians had self determination there wouldn’t be Israeli soldiers everywhere. The IDF control it with curfews, 500+ checkpoints, constant bulldozering of people’s homes and more transfer, the ridiculously routed wall winding within the West Bank and separating communities, settler only roads, (the Palestinians are confined to enclaves smaller than the South African Bantustans) Israel and the settlers control and use 83% of the water available from West Bank aquifers (that’s awful), leaving just 17% for the Palestinian inhabitants. This is all WITHIN the West Bank. Why - to protect the illegal settlements that have grown over the last 40 years. Hence the appalling lives of refugees and their families. And Netanyahu will keep the settlements, so more justified anger from Palestinians and more international calls for boycott. |
