...and all but four of the twenty two directly or indirectly condone and justify what was obviously brutal and inhumane treatment meted out to what one can legitimately wonder were anything more than random young men rounded up by the IDF.
Given the IDF`s other acts in Gaza, little here could ever be the focus of outrage: after all, any detainees were necessarily not killed outright. However, it is noteworthy and striking how overwhelmingly Israel`s supporters support such behavior.
May it be visited on you someday. Of all the indictments that can be leveled against Israel, the most damning is the moral texture of those who still support her. |
