Steven & Esoj, Israel investigates the crimes committed by Hamas. Otherwise its policy of targeted assassinations would certainly be criminal. The assassinations, being targeted, imply an investigation and a finding of guilt. However, since they are extra-judicial there is no defendant to try in a courtroom.
