| If memory serves, the Russian expression "mochit` v sartire" (loosely translated: to kill in the toilet) comes from the days of mass executions in the dreaded cheka cellars. When they`d shoot a victim in the head, there`d be blood all over the place and after a while the room would get slippery and too dirty, so some smart guy figured that it`s a lot cleaner if you take the victims into the john, and shoot them in the head while holding them over the toilet. That way the blood could easily be flushed away. No muss no fuss. Practical guys... |
