Also of note is that fact that those same soldiers rounded up dozens of member of the extended Samouni family into a building and, a couple of hours later, bombed that building, killing close to 30 people, including many women and children.
And, subsequently, the IDF explicitly blocked the Red Cross from reaching those injured women and children for several days after the bombing took place.
The graffiti is not a big deal in and of itself. But what it confirms is that the killings of members of the Samouni family were cold-blooded hate crimes. |
