Religion [weather Islam, Christianity, Judaism or others] are all based on the world as it was millenniums ago. As the holly books were written at that time they provide solutions for the issues of their time and come short in addressing the issues of the current times.
Those Muslims, Christians and Jews who understand that and practice their religion in accordance of modern times and its needs contribute to development and improvement of humanity while those who prefer to interpret it word by word as it was written are left behind living the era of conquests and fatalism. They have no right to complain why they are left behind or not being paid attention because humanity has to go ahead find many more solutions to deadly diseases explore the depths of the universe etc. which often clashes with religion. |
