| Long before all this, Hamas took pride in - suicide bombings of buses, restaurants, shops. car bombing. Brutal death, children , women, teens, pensioners - but tradition did not allow the pictures of it to be shown. All were rejoiced over. 9/11 most danced with joy. I never saw the same joy in the Israeli street, anger maybe, not joy. sadness more like. Hamas has always been targeting civilians from the begining, indeed they believe it their "right" They have a right to war (their word for it is "resistance"). It stems from their religious viewpoint that once a land islamic, always and violence is sanctioned for that purpose. It is not because they are natives, they are not -most can trace their ancestry to the Egytian invasion of the Pasha Ibrahim Ali, who settled many Egytians here. It is a sad world view, as the innocent peace loving among them deserve much better. We all do but the world is full of hate and cruelty. |
