There is absolutely no details here about how the system works. All we get is a group of people saying how impressed they are with it. Presumably the idea has a lot of potential, but the image quality (shown on the clip) looks no where near good enough for monitoring cancer growth. A chest x-ray nowadays gives as much radiation as an airline flight, and an incredible image quality, that this system hasn`t come close to. I feel that I am being unfair in damning a system without understanding it, but it would be good to have more details. Perhaps the main potential is in rapid lung function measurements (as you touched on). Please Haaretz, don`t skim over technical stuff. |
