Obama on envoy: "When he speaks, he speaks for us."
Olemrt may have had the chutspa to insult Rice on her way out the door (a topic no doubt to be covered in an upcomin Rice book) but I suspect neither he not others will go out of the way to insult the new envoy given that such would be tamtamount to insulting the new President.
Very smart move by Obama, apparently his team knows a thing or two about Israeli leadership and apparently they want to make clear there will be no Tail wagging Dog incidents. |
