This is the kind of idiocy that (a) gives religion a bad name (b) doesn`t help ANYONE, and (c) [because in the military everything is in threes] actually does harm to Israel and it`s rightful cause.
I`m sorry we stopped in Gaza. Not because of the hundred of civilian deaths and doubtless thousands of wounded -- that`s terrible, but it`s the price of war. I`m sorry because, like Lebanon, we did not achieve even our initial goals. Tunnels are still there. Hamas still rules.
Now we`ve muddied the moral waters with this garbage. Just like the evangelical christians that have slimed their way into the US military, this inappropriate, disgusting literature cannot be allowed to be disseminated or approved by the military rabbinate. They are the religious leaders for all Jews, not just the fanatic few. |
