Regardless of national loyalty these matters should be investigated hoinestly thoroughly and evenhandedly. If you care about a just and democratic Israel there is no alternative. Principles matter; The truth matters. They are not luxuries, they are bread and water, they are the oxygen which allows free society to survive.
The mindset which says "Whatever my army/leaders do is good and just because it was done by my army/leaders" is the sort of mindset that gives birth to fascism.
Be careful folks, do not believe that fascism is only a European disease. Wherever you live, and whatever your religion, human nature remains the same. Israel is no different to any other society. Be vigilant if you care about your country. |
