| I want to apologize to Gideon Shlumperzalmacher and Gideon AbuBuzaglo for not having read their columns for the past three weeks. My reticence is not due to their writing ability. Who can forget Shlumperzalmacher`s classic insight into the causes of the architectural revolution in Pre Inca Cuzco, Peru? And is it at all possible to ignore AbuBuzaglo`s analysis of the opportunities facing the Ulan Bator team in the forthcoming 2009 Mongolian Wrestling League. It`s just that ? when I see a newspaper article with the byline "Gideon _ _ _ _, I instinctively jump to the delete button before determining whether the true author is Gideon Levy or someone else. I have had my fill of one sided, hateful insidious assemblages of words wherein my country people and I are painted as horrendous savages while those who wish to kill, dismember and destroy me are mere victims and babes in the woods. So, deleting the magnificent prose of Gideon Shlumperzalmacher and Gideon AbuBuzaglo is a small price to pay for the opportunity to delete Gideon Levy. I also want to apologize to Sonia Levy and Mathilda Levy??? |
