| Israeli politicians are as alike as eggs in a carton. Some of them have a little more chicken poop on them than others, but inside they are all the same (except for the occassiobal rotten one). Livni has a philosophy that paced her in Likud. When she changed to Kadima, it wasn`t because her views changed, it was because she followed Sharon, her mentor, which gave her better opportunity for personal advancement than she would have had in Likud. No Israel politician wants to be the one to actually start the west bank withdrawal which is the first step of an actual peace process. Any such person would be immediately "Rabinized". Even if they managed to survive, their political career would be over. This is not a dream scenario for any politician and no Israeli politician has the courage or the character to start down this difficult and dangerous road. |
