| For once and too rarely here is a voice that has taken a sober look at the reality of what Israel`s armed forces did in and to Gaza. His call for humility and proportionality is an appeal to a people that believes that it above all others holds to the highest value of human life. In reality it actually puts Israeli life above all others regardless of the cost to the innocent others. What just happened in Gaza is that Israel became Hamas` partner in cynicism. Both were and are prepared to continue to sacrifice Palestinian women and children for their causes. |
