| It is childs play to smuggle things on a cargo ship. Simply bury the smuggled items in the other cargo. In addition to this, there can be "false holds" not apparent on the ships drawings. Efforts to stop smuggling will be about as useful as using sanctions to bend Irans will to give up her nuclear program. Instead of wasting time and money on useless activities, America should concentrate on the root causes of the smuggling. Pressing Israel to freeze west bank construction will not stop smuggling but it will show that America is not entirely "owned" by Israel and will be a legitimate first step for eliminating the need for smuggling. |
