Why do you think that Hamas is likely to rush into giving Shalit back to you when you just killed 500 plus Palestinian Children, by using illegal weapons and attacks from land, air and sea for 23 days against a civilian population whixh you alreay hold under military occupation and under siege. Your leaders have no care about Shalit, if they did they would not have bombed Gaza athe way they did and certainly not after they were informed that Israel had wounded Shalit in an IDF airstrike.
Maybe your best chance would be to "exchange" Shalit for one of the idiots culpable for putting him in the situation he is in like Olmert or Amer Paretz who was your great Minister of War at the time. I think that would be the just thing to do. Maybe if your leaders had to start feeling the pain they make your people and the Palestinians feel, they would not be so willing to sacrifice lives so easily. |
