| Peter you have it wrong I`m sad to say. While the two events are not equal to each other, there`s a grain of truth to the tragic human events one sees coming out of the Gaza Strip and earlier from the West Bank. Many Israelis and their Christian supporters in the West, the first eyeing the land and the second the Second Coming of Jesus, make striking comments and allow the most inhumane treatment of the Arabs in these areas. The first say that they are fighting an existential war for survival and the second are unconcerned about the inhumanity against the Arabs because they believe that Jews must own and control the ancient lands of Israel inorder for Jesus to arrive. I hope that the new US administration takes the neccessary cold calculus of NATIONAL INTEREST of the USA into account and finally puts it to both sides. Either a one State solution or a two State solution with agreed on terms for sharing the resources of the area. Money from all concerned parties for restitution of |
